Coaching Through the Process of Faith Deconstruction
I support individuals deconstructing from fundamentalist Christianity by offering a safe, compassionate space to process and heal. Together, we explore and release maladaptive beliefs and toxic systems, while moving toward a life that feels authentic, free, and grounded in your own truth.
Building Emotional Resilience and Embodiment (Somatic)
If you’ve experienced trauma, it can feel difficult to feel safe in your body and in the world. Learning to gently reconnect with your body can help you rebuild trust in yourself and create a deeper sense of safety. In our work together, I draw on somatic practices that focus on what the body is communicating, rather than only retelling the story of the trauma. For example, we may explore noticing and feeling emotions as they arise in the body, instead of staying only in the mind. When it feels supportive, we can also weave in elements of talk therapy for context—all with the intention of gradually releasing the emotions your body has been holding.
Sitting with Big and Difficult Emotions
Shame is a universal experience—yet it’s often shamed within our culture. In our work together, we’ll create space to sit with shame, listen to what it believes, and feel it through to the other side. Behind every layer of shame, there is always a deeper message waiting to be heard. Culturally, we’re taught to turn shame inward, which blocks us from true freedom and embodiment. Together, we’ll begin to untangle that pattern and move toward a more compassionate way of being.
Fear of Death and Existential Anxiety
The fear of death is one of the most profound and universal human experiences. I support individuals in exploring and processing these fears with thoughtfulness and compassion, focusing on understanding their deeper layers and cultivating peace with life’s uncertainties. Through open dialogue, a Jungian approach, radical acceptance, surrender, and grounding techniques, we’ll work toward transforming fear into a deeper appreciation of life itself.
